Psalms 22:2, words by King David, music by Reb Yosil Rosenzweig
King David pursued by King Saul and his soldiers, was running for his life through the Judean desert. His despair was not over the danger involved in his own self-preservation, rather, he was distraught that he was distant from the Tabernacle in Shiloh where he could experience the Shechina (God’s physical presence).
